Mental health charity Cintre, working with adults with complex mental health across Bristol and North Somerset, has installed a new hands free door opener from Bristol-based Euro Moulding 3D Solutions.

The Bristol Mental Health charity offers community services, residential care and supported living.

Cintre House in Clifton, Bristol, is a residential service for up to seven adults in individual rooms.

Close to shops and amenities such as the beautiful Clifton Downs open space, the house offers service users considerable social opportunities and life skills as they begin their outward transition into greater independence.

Cintre CEO, Dr Claire Mould, says, “We were delighted to be selected to receive the AV Arm Pull Handle for Cintre House. As a care provider we already operate very stringent PPE and safety standards and are always seeking to enhance those.

“The handle is ideal as it helps keep staff and residents even safer by allowing them to use their arm to pull the door rather than touching it with their hands.”

This hands free door opener was easily fitted in just a couple of minutes with an allen key supplied. This transformed the pull handle door into one that’s easily opened with an arm, adding a critical barrier of protection from transmission of viruses, bacteria and germs.
